Senior Group Financial Controller

Your primary task will be:
- Participate in the preparation of monthly, interim and annual reports, including preparation of accounting memorandums and communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Handle consolidation and associated month-end closing activities
- Be an a IFRS excellence professional partner for group companies, ensuring compliance and implementation of new IFRS’. across the Group as well as maintaining the Royal Unibrew Accounting Manual
- Perform ongoing on-site financial controlling of group companies ensuring alignment with IFRS and the Royal Unibrew Accounting Manual (expected travel activity of 10-15
- days per year)
- Participate in the implementation and provide accounting sparring regarding new companies, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) including assistance regarding purchase price allocations (PPA)
- Being the Group's representative and liaison to IT department for the implementation of financial
- IT tools and systems
- Assist on Board and other stakeholder’s presentation and communication
Reporting to the Head of Group Financial Controlling and Reporting, and through close cooperation with the rest of the business, it is your task to support our subsidiaries and group functions, both through assistance on various projects e.g. development of consolidation systems, integration of acquired companies etc..
Simultaneously you will always keep yourself up to date with the accounting rules applicable, including IFRS.
You will advise many different decision makers in the organization. It is therefore important that you have strong communication skills on all levels. Additionally, we hope you can identify with the following:
- You are able to handle and structure large amounts of data. You are both business-oriented and solution-focused, while also knowing when to stand your ground. You should be able to present your conclusions in an easily understandable manner to various target audiences within the organization.
- You have a strong analytical mindset and the ability to translate complex accounting issues into business solutions.
- You are very familiar with IFRS and have experience with consolidation and reporting under these standards.
- You are experienced working on interim and annual reports, as well as having experience with accounting due diligence in M&A activities
- You speak and write both Danish and English fluently
In addition to this you have a minimum of five years’ experience in the auditing industry or a similar position.
You have a higher education degree, such as Cand.Merc.AUD or HD(R) and excellent Excel skills. Also, it is advantageous if you have knowledge of SAP, but not a must.
